Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a patient care assistant to support RNs in telemetry at Condell Medical Center. The role includes daily patient care tasks, vital signs, and accurate documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, hygiene, feeding and ambulation.
• Record vital signs and intake/output data as requested.
• Document in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) accurately.
• Perform rounding and communicate patient needs to RN.
• Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge with supervision.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of nursing area.
