Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Part-time Nursing Assistant for the ICU at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. Night shift 6:30 pm–7:00 am with rotating weekends and holidays, 24 hours per week.

The candidate will assist RNs with daily patient care, document vital signs in EMR, and support admissions, transfers and discharges under supervision. BLS for Healthcare Providers and Nurse Aide registration are required within specified timelines. GED or HS diploma is acceptable.

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma or equivalency approved by the state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification must be obtained within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide registration in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility.
• Record vital signs and inputs/outputs in EMR.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges under supervision.
• Perform rounding and communicate patient observations to RN promptly.
• Support nutritional and skin care tasks per RN guidance.
