Job summary

CoxFleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs on a mobile basis for light to heavy-duty vehicles. The role requires independent work, tool set, and DOT compliance in a field environment.

Night shift, with travel and scheduling details as provided by the team. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, 3–5 years in related field, ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and a valid DOT/regulatory background.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; combination with other certifications or levels may apply.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations compliance and DOT pre-employment requirements.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months; valid driver’s license and ability to obtain Driver Qualification File.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT Inspections and follow up repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine electronics and transmission systems.
• Maintain and operate company-issued service vehicle; document RO with TRAIT app and upload photos.
