Job summary

Cox Fleet, a Cox Automotive subsidiary, is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose electrical, brake, cooling, and engine systems, maintain vehicle inventory, and document work with the TRAIT app.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with relevant experience (or equivalent), ASE T8 certification within 18 months, and a valid driver’s license with the ability to

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required with 3 years’ related experience, or 5 years’ related experience.
ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months of hire.
Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

Perform DOT inspections and PM on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems.
Maintain and inventory parts on service truck and document RO using iOS TRAIT app.
