Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to guide the Dedicated Fleet operation and assist the Project Manager as needed. The role involves load planning, driver scheduling, dispatch, and KPI reporting.

The schedule runs Wednesday to Sunday nights from 6pm; candidate should have 2–3 years in logistics, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office and TMW. Must be able to multitask and work extended hours when required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in logistics or transportation.
• Proficiency with MS Office and TMW.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to multitask and work extended hours if needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive working relations with drivers.
• Communicate service issues to internal and external contacts.
• Perform load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch using Dedicated Fleet and Common Carrier resources.
• Enter daily data into NFI’s order-management system (TMW).
• Coordinate with home-office invoicing to ensure timely weekly customer invoices.
• Provide weekly KPI/performance reports.
• Coordinate daily scheduling for truck and trailer maintenance.
• Assist Project Manager with Safety, Security and Labor policies.
• Cover departments during vacations or holidays as needed.
• Manage and maintain driver payroll; audit expense reports.
• Provide assistance to Project Manager where needed.
