Job summary

NFI Industries seeks a Logistics Coordinator to oversee the Dedicated Fleet operation and assist the Project Manager in daily tasks. You will manage driver relations, scheduling, dispatch, and invoicing coordination to ensure smooth operation and timely customer communications.

The role requires strong multitasking, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to safety and compliance within a fast-paced logistics environment in the United States.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in logistics/transportation
• Experience with MS Office and TMW is strongly desired
• Excellent customer service, problem solving, communication and decision making

Responsibilities

• Maintains positive and encouraging relations with all drivers
• Communicates service issues to appropriate personnel/departments (NFI and Customer)
• Performs load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch duties using Dedicated Fleet and Common Carrier resources
• Coordinates daily data entry into NFI's order-management system (TMW)
• Coordinates with home-office invoicing to ensure timely weekly customer invoices
• Ensures timely completion of daily and weekly tasks
• Provides weekly KPI/performance data reports to internal and external parties
• Coordinates daily scheduling of truck and trailer maintenance
• Works with safety on DriveCam, driver compliance and HOS issues
• Assists Project Manager with Safety, Security and Labor policies
• Provides coverage during vacations/holidays
• Manages and maintains driver payroll
• Audits and approves driver expense reports
• Provides assistance to Project Manager wherever needed
