Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator in New York for the Dedicated Fleet operation. You will direct daily logistics activities and support the Project Manager with safety and policy implementation.

The role emphasizes driver relations, load planning, and timely invoicing support. The position requires 2–3 years in logistics or transportation, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask with extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in logistics/transportation
• MS Office and TMW experience desired
• Excellent customer service, problem solving, communication and decision making skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently
• Availability for extended hours if needed

Responsibilities

• Maintains positive relations with drivers
• Communicates service issues to internal and external parties
• Performs load planning, scheduling, and dispatch using Dedicated Fleet and Common Carrier resources
• Enters data into NFI’s order-management system (TMW)
• Coordinates with invoicing team for weekly customer invoices
• Ensures timely completion of daily/weekly tasks
• Provides weekly KPI reports to internal/external stakeholders
• Coordinates daily scheduling of truck and trailer maintenance
• Works with safety department on DriveCam, HOS and driver compliance
• Assists Project Manager with Safety, Security and Labor policies
• Provides coverage across departments during vacations/holidays
• Manages and audits driver payroll and expense reports
• Assists Project Manager as needed
