Job summary

Staples Supply Chain seeks a Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator in Portland, OR. You will mentor and train new team members, fill in for supervisors, and operate material handling equipment to move products safely in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, organized workspace, adhering to safety procedures, and supporting the shift with operational leadership. Competitive hourly pay and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 12+ months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen.
• Must be able to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift.
• Ability to lift, push or pull equipment/merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor material handling staff.
• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain safe, clean workspace and follow safety procedures.
• Support supervisors and fill in as needed.
