Job summary

Staples Advantage Canada in Sharon, MA is seeking a Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator to mentor and train staff, and to fill in for supervisors as needed. You will operate forklifts and other MHE in a fast-paced warehouse while maintaining a safe work area and adhering to all safety procedures.

You will be essential to Staples Supply Chain’s success and must demonstrate the ability to work in a warehouse with seasonal temperature variations, lifting up to 100 pounds, and basic English

Qualifications

• 12+ months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Overtime hours may be required for full-time associates.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must wear safety footwear.

Responsibilities

• Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator; mentor and train new material handlers.
• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace and follow safety procedures.
• Support supervision by filling in when needed.
• Contribute to Staples Supply Chain success and customer delivery.
