Job summary

Staples is seeking a Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator to mentor staff, fill in for supervisors, and move products using forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or pallet jacks. You’ll uphold safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment and support overall Staples supply chain effectiveness.

Qualifications include 12+ months in a warehouse, ability to pass a drug screen, lifting up to 100 pounds, and wearing safety shoes.

Qualifications

• 12+ months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Must wear safety composite work shoes.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor new material handlers and fill in for supervisors as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and adhere to safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
