Job summary

Staples Supply Chain is seeking a Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator in the United States. You will mentor and train associates, fill in for supervisors, and ensure safe, efficient movement of goods in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and related equipment, maintaining clean work areas, and upholding safety procedures to support reliable deliveries for Staples customers.

Qualifications

• 12+ months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Full-Time associates may require overtime based on business need.
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Must wear safety composite work shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor material handlers and assist supervisors.
• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks.
• Move products within the warehouse following safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Help deliver to customers as part of Staples Supply Chain.
