Job summary

Staples Supply Chain is seeking a Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator to mentor teammates and supervise in a fast-paced warehouse. You will operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, and electric pallet jacks, moving product while maintaining safety.

You will also help uphold a clean, safe workspace and support the safety culture across the team. Responsibilities include training new material handlers, stepping in for supervisors as needed, and ensuring efficient operations in a

Qualifications

• 12+ months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where permissible by law.
• If Full-Time, able to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime may be required.
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Must wear safety composite work shoes.
• Must walk/stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train material handlers; fill in for supervisors as needed.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move product safely.
