Job summary

Staples Supply Chain in Missouri is seeking a Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator to mentor staff and cover supervisor duties as needed. You will move products with forklifts and related equipment, maintaining safety throughout a fast-paced warehouse.

The role requires 18+, ability to lift up to 100 lb, and passing a drug screen, with inclusive benefits and opportunities for Full-Time or Part-Time employment.

Qualifications

• 12+ months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift when needed.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds.
• Must wear safety composite work shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator; mentor and train new material handlers and fill in for supervisors as needed.
• Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to move product while following safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and support Staples Supply Chain operations.
