Job summary

Packsize is seeking an Assistant Resident Services Manager in Joliet, IL to support the Resident Services team. You will oversee Resident Service Engineers who install, maintain, and support Packsize equipment at customer sites, ensuring responsive service and safety compliance.

You will coordinate daily activities, coach staff, build strong customer relationships, and collaborate with Engineering, Software, Quality, and Operations to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years in service engineering, maintenance, automation, or technical support.
• 1-3 years in team lead or supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of Resident Service Engineers.
• Coordinate daily service activities, schedules, and workload distribution.
• Provide technical and operational guidance at customer sites.
• Onboard, coach, and train team members.
• Build strong customer relationships through responsive service and communication.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Software, Quality, and Operations to address issues.
• Review project requirements and define service scope.
• Monitor service metrics and drive improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with inventory, parts management, and service documentation.
• Support escalations and resolve issues with leadership.
• Prepare RCAs and communicate them to customers and leadership.
