Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an automation technician for third shift to install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity sensors, PLCs, HMIs, and related control wiring in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include diagnosing analog/digital controls, servicing 480V 3-phase power systems, and maintaining conveyors and laser-guided vehicles. Strong PLC and ladder logic skills required; safety procedures must be followed.

Qualifications

• Must have PLCs experience and servo systems familiarity.
• Experience with packaging equipment in manufacturing preferred.
• Proficiency with electrical schematics and safety procedures (lockout/tagout, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity switches and PLC I/O modules.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs; modify ladder logic as needed.
• Maintain and diagnose encoders, load cells, and motion components.
• Troubleshoot Profibus/serial/industrial Ethernet communications.
• Perform preventive maintenance on laser-guided vehicles and conveyors.
