Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to install, troubleshoot, and optimize automation systems on a night shift. You will work with photo eyes, switches, PLCs and HMIs, ensuring reliable operation across packaging lines and conveyors.

The role requires PLC programming experience, servo systems familiarity, and a strong understanding of 480V 3-phase power and safety protocols. Benefits include 401(k) and health/dental/vision plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and servo systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining packaging equipment in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing safety procedures (lockout/tagout, confined spaces, PPE).
• Preference for experience with encoders, servomotors and amplifiers.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC I/O and control wiring.
• Troubleshoot analog/digital controls with 480V 3-phase power, motors, VFDs, servo drives, and soft starts.
• Maintain and troubleshoot position feedback devices encoders and load cells.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces; modify ladder logic as needed.
• Diagnose equipment using electrical schematics and perform PM on Laser Guided Vehicles and conveyors.
