Job summary

100Hires, Inc. in Maple Park, IL seeks a maintenance technician to install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, switches, PLC I/O, and related wiring in a 3rd shift environment.

You'll program PLCs and HMIs, diagnose Profibus and Ethernet communications, maintain encoders and load cells, and perform preventive maintenance on conveyors and Laser Guided Vehicles. Benefits include 401(k), health, dental, vision, PTO on start, and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated PLCs and servo systems experience required.
• MHCI/PC-based maintenance systems preferred.
• Experience with packaging equipment in manufacturing preferred.
• Understanding of safety procedures (lockout/tagout, etc.) preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics desired.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity, limit switches, PLC I/O and wiring.
• Troubleshoot analog/digital control systems with 480V 3-phase power, VFDs, servo drives, and soft starts.
• Maintain encoders and load cells; service lasers and conveyors as needed.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces; modify ladder logic.
• Troubleshoot communication protocols (Profibus, serial, industrial Ethernet).
• Perform preventive maintenance on Laser Guided Vehicles and production equipment.
