Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Naperville, IL is seeking a maintenance technician for 2nd/3rd shift to install, configure, and troubleshoot automation equipment and controls. You will work with photo eyes, switches, PLC I/O, and wiring, while diagnosing 480V, 3-phase systems and servo drives.

Paced environment expects strong safety practices and hands-on electrical troubleshooting. The role involves programming PLCs, debugging HMI interfaces, and performing preventive maintenance on conveyors and

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and servo systems.
Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital controls on 480V, 3-phase power.
Experience with electrical schematics and maintenance on packaging/manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge of lockout/tagout and safety procedures preferred.
Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift as required.

Responsibilities

Install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC I/O and wiring.
Troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces and modify ladder logic as needed.
Diagnose communication protocols (Profibus, serial, industrial Ethernet).
Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, laser guided vehicles and production equipment.
Maintain systems with encoders, servomotors and amplifiers.
Support engineering with device troubleshooting and documentation.
