Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift to install, configure and troubleshoot a range of automation equipment in a manufacturing setting. You will work on photo eyes, sensors, PLC I/O, and wiring, while diagnosing analog/digital controls and 480V power systems.

Proficiency with PLC/HMI programming, ladder logic and safety protocols is required. The role involves preventive maintenance on conveyors, lasers, and packaging lines, with relocation support and regular raises based

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience with PLCs and servo systems required.
Ability to troubleshoot packaging equipment in manufacturing.
Thorough understanding of electrical schematics and safety.

Responsibilities

Install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC I/O modules, and wiring.
Troubleshoot analog and digital controls with 480V, 3‑phase power, motors, VFDs, servos, and soft starts.
Maintain and troubleshoot encoders and load cells.
Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces.
Modify PLC logic using ladder logic.
Troubleshoot HMI graphics; diagnose communication protocols (Profibus, serial, industrial Ethernet).
Diagnose equipment via electrical schematics and perform preventive maintenance on laser guided vehicles and conveyors.
Follow safety procedures (LOCKOUT/TAGOUT) and maintain documentation.
