Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks a skilled maintenance/controls technician to install, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMI interfaces, and related equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with 480V 3-phase systems, servo drives, encoders, and load cells is required; knowledge of Profibus/Industrial Ethernet is a plus. Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shift, with overtime and relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and servo systems.
• Experience with packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout and safety procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity switches, PLC I/O modules and wiring.
• Troubleshoot analog and digital controls with 480V, 3-phase power distribution.
• Maintain encoders and load cells and troubleshoot position feedback devices.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces and modify ladder logic.
• Diagnose and implement communication protocols (Profibus, serial, industrial Ethernet).
• Perform preventive maintenance on Laser Guided Vehicles and conveyors.
