Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an electrical/controls technician for a 3rd shift role in Illinois. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC I/O modules, and related control wiring.

You will work with 480V 3-phase power, servo drives, laser guided vehicles, conveyors, and safety protocols. Requires PLC programming, HMI troubleshooting, and strong electrical schematics knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated experience with PLCs and servo systems.
• Experience with packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures (lockout/tagout, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, and control wiring.
• Program ladder logic and modify PLC/HMI interfaces.
• Troubleshoot Profibus, serial, and industrial Ethernet communications.
• Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors and production equipment.
• Maintain encoders, load cells, and drive systems.
