Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Prior Lake, MN seeks a Mechanic II to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers and refrigeration power units, including complex electrical and mechanical work. You will diagnose, repair, and tune diesel engines, read service bulletins, perform alignments, and work with safety rules.

Shift is 10:00 PM–6:30 AM; benefits start after 60 days. Applicants should have diesel repair experience, ASE PMI certification, valid Class C license (A preferred), and

Qualifications

• Experience in diesel repairs, tractor-trailer, refrigeration maintenance and repairs.
• ASE PMI certification (T8) within 1 year from hire.
• Valid Class C driver license; Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Grade 4 Mechanic duties and preventative maintenance.
• Repair trailer refrigeration systems and perform mechanical/electrical repairs.
• Diagnose, repair, replace, or rebuild components such as clutches, water pumps, brakes and drive lines.
• Read service bulletins and technical manuals; maintain tools and complete paperwork.
