Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic II to perform routine and complex repairs on trailer refrigeration systems, diesel engines, and related components. The role requires 2 years of diesel repair experience, ASE PMI (T8) certification within 1 year, and a valid Class C license (Class A preferred).

You will work nights 10:00 PM–6:30 AM and support both shop and road calls. Eligible employees receive comprehensive benefits starting on day 60, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life

Qualifications

• Must have reading, writing, and comprehension of English to perform tasks safely and effectively.
• Two years of diesel repair, tractor-trailer, refrigeration maintenance/repairs experience.
• ASE PMI certification (T8) within 1 year or current if already held.

Responsibilities

• Perform functions of a Grade 4 Mechanic.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer refrigeration.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, with or without supervision.
• Read service bulletins and technical manuals to execute repairs.
• Maintain shop tools and complete paperwork and computer input.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor and peers; follow safety rules.
