Job summary

McLane Company, Inc seeks a Mechanic II in Northfield, MN to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer refrigeration and diesel systems. You will diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical components, read service bulletins, and document work performed.

Requirements include 2 years of diesel repair experience, a valid Class C license (Class A preferred), and ASE PMI certification or progression toward it. Benefits begin after 60 days with medical, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years diesel repairs, tractor-trailer, refrigeration maintenance experience.
• Valid Class C driver’s license; Class A preferred.
• ASE PMI certification or progress toward it within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailer refrigeration and diesel systems.
• Diagnose, repair, replace or rebuild mechanical and electrical components.
• Operate with minimal supervision and follow safety rules.
• Read service bulletins and manuals and document work performed.
• Maintain tools and complete all paperwork and computer input.
