Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a fully trained Mechanic II to perform preventative maintenance and complex repairs on trailers and refrigeration units. The role requires diagnosing diesel engines, wheel alignments, and electrical systems, with the ability to work independently or in a team.

Night shift hours 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM are included, with benefits starting after 60 days. The position offers a competitive hourly pay rate, shift premium, and opportunities for growth within a nationwide

Qualifications

• High school or GED required; trade school in diesel/refrigeration preferred.
• 2 years diesel, tractor-trailer, refrigeration maintenance experience.
• ASE PMI certification and a valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailers and refrigeration units.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and electrical issues.
• Read service bulletins, use manuals, and document work performed.
