Zusammenfassung

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Controls Engineer for a Glendale, AZ facility on a 2-2-3 night schedule (6:00 PM–6:00 AM). The role leads on-shift automation, troubleshoots PLC/HMI/VFD issues, and collaborates across operations, maintenance, and engineering to improve throughput and reliability.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate degree in engineering technology or equivalent, 4+ years of industrial automation experience, and strong PLC/HMI skills, with knowledge of

Qualifikationen

Associate degree or equivalent in engineering technology or related discipline.
4+ years in industrial automation or controls in high-speed manufacturing.
Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming abilities.
Experience with HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, sensors, and industrial networks.
Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.

Aufgaben

Serve as primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for production equipment.
Diagnose PLC/HMI/VFD/servo and network issues and restore production safely.
Lead and mentor maintenance staff on controls topics and projects.
Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, and throughput.
