Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer for on-site work at our Glendale, AZ facility on a 2-2-3 night schedule (6:00 PM–6:00 AM). You will be the on-shift controls expert, troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial networks for high-speed beverage lines.

Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering and quality to lead controls projects, mentor technicians, and maintain docs while supporting change management and equipment upgrades.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in engineering tech / automation.
4+ years of industrial automation experience in high-speed manufacturing.
Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming skills.
Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.

Responsibilities

Serve as on-shift controls expert and troubleshoot Tier 1–2 issues.
Diagnose PLC/HMI/VFD/servo and networking problems and restore production.
Lead controls projects to improve safety, quality and throughput.
Provide mentorship and training to maintenance staff.
