Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer for the Glendale, AZ facility on a 2-2-3 night shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM). You will troubleshoot PLC/HMI/VFD/servo systems, mentor technicians, and lead automation projects to boost safety, quality and throughput in high-speed beverage processing lines.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in automation/controls.
• 4+ years in industrial automation in high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1/2 troubleshooting for production equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, and network issues.
• Develop control projects to improve safety, quality and throughput.
• Mentor maintenance techs and operators; maintain backups and drawings.
