Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Controls Engineer for a Glendale, AZ facility on a 2-2-3 night schedule (6:00 PM–6:00 AM). The role focuses on on-shift automation support, PLC/HMI troubleshooting, and controls project execution to improve safety and throughput.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree or equivalent experience in industrial automation, strong PLC/HMI expertise, and experience with high-speed beverage processing equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Associate degree or 4+ years in industrial automation.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1/2 troubleshooting for automated equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, and network issues.
• Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and operators.
