Job summary
Electrical Automation Services in Glendale, Arizona is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer for the night shift to support high-speed beverage production. You will act as on-shift automation expert, troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and drive systems, and lead safety-focused improvement projects across packaging lines.

Qualifications
- 4+ years in industrial automation or controls in high-speed manufacturing.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
- Experience with HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial networks.
- Able to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and mentoring skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary on-shift controls expert for automated lines.
- Provide Tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting for PLC/HMI and drives.
- Diagnose problems and implement corrective actions to improve throughput.
- Lead controls projects enhancing safety and reliability.
- Mentor maintenance technicians and operators; support MOS changes.
