Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Controls Engineer for a night shift at a Glendale, AZ facility. You will be the on-shift controls expert, troubleshooting PLC, HMI, VFD, and motion-control issues across high-speed bottling and packaging lines.

You will mentor maintenance technicians, lead automation projects, and ensure safety, reliability, and throughput improvements. Relocation assistance is available; extensive experience in food/beverage packaging is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree in engineering technology, information systems, industrial automation and controls, or related technical discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least four years of industrial automation or controls experience in high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
• Experience with HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and electrical control systems.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for automated production, processing, and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, and network issues.
• Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
• Maintain documentation, backups, and participate in change management processes.
