Job summary
Electrical Automation Services is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer for a night-shift role in Glendale, AZ. You will act as the on-site controls expert, supporting automation and process controls across packaging lines, bottling, and conveying systems.
Responsibilities include diagnosing PLC/HMI/VFD/servo issues, implementing permanent improvements, and mentoring maintenance staff. 4+ years in high-speed manufacturing and an associate degree are required; relocation assistance is available.
Qualifications
- Requires an associate degree or equivalent in engineering tech/controls.
- At least four years of automation/controls experience in high-speed manufacturing.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
- Experience with solid understanding of HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, and industrial networks.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
- Provide Tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting for production equipment.
- Diagnose PLC/HMI/VFD/servo and network issues, restoring production safely.
