Electrical Automation Services seeks a skilled Controls Engineer for our Goodyear, AZ facility. You will be the on-shift controls expert, Troubleshooting PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and servo systems while supporting packaging and bottling lines. You will mentor technicians and lead automation improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Requires associate degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 4+ years of industrial automation/controls experience in high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming abilities.
• Experience with automated production, conveyor, and packaging equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, control drawings, and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting for production equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, motion-control issues.
• Develop permanent corrective actions for recurring problems.
• Lead controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput.
• Support equipment commissioning, upgrades, installations, and system integration.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and operators on controls.
