OSF HealthCare is seeking a Communication Specialist in Peoria, IL to provide telephone assistance to patients, physicians and staff. The role supports physician call schedules and administrative lists, and handles emergent paging as required.

The position operates on a 4x10 hour shift pattern (8:00 PM–6:30 AM) with every other weekend holiday, third shift. High school diploma or GED and customer service experience are required.

Competenze

• High School or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Mansioni

• Provide telephone assistance to patients, physicians, team members and the public in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain physician call schedules, out-of-hospital personnel lists, and other administrative contact lists.
• Respond to emergent calls quickly following protocol and page as needed.
