Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process incoming calls for patients, staff, physicians, and the public in a courteous and professional manner.
• Process outgoing calls for staff and physicians in a courteous and professional manner.
• Dispatch cardiac code team and notify Emergency department as required.
• Record and transmit messages for physicians and office personnel.
• Enter pager blocks for physicians and update on-call information.
• Maintain logs and logs for pager swaps and department procedures.
• Monitor alarm systems and report issues to Telecommunications.
• Provide information to patients, staff, physicians, and the public as requested.
• Assist in replacement service of patient telephones and equipment.
