Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the Nursing Float Pool at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. This part-time role involves two 12-hour night shifts per week (6:30 pm–7:00 am), with rotations every third weekend and holidays.

Training includes BLS and hospital certifications as required. You will support RNs with patient care, documentation in EMR, and duties to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED/HSED.
• No experience required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to document in EMR.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care: bathing, feeding, mobility.
• Measure and document vital signs and daily weights; record in EMR.
• Perform rounds and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges under RN supervision.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Restock supplies, manage equipment, and maintain clean work areas.
