Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide for the Nursing Float Pool at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Illinois. This full-time, night-shift role involves 36 hours per week, with three 12-hour nights from 1830-0700 and rotating weekends/holidays. Requires a high school diploma or GED/HSED and current BLS and Nurse Aide registration.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED/HSED.
• Maintains annual hospital-based certification requirements (DNV, CARF or others).
• Basic computer skills and effective written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, mobility, and monitoring.
• Record vitals and patient data accurately in EMR and report to RN.
• Perform rounding, communicate observations to RN, and support admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Handle specimen collection and point-of-care testing as directed, with proper labeling and competency maintenance.
• Stock and transport supplies, maintain equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort.
