Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the 0.6 night shift in the Nursing Float Pool. This part-time role (24 hours/week) offers benefits eligibility and a $20.80–$31.20 hourly pay range.

Responsibilities include assisting RNs with daily patient care, data collection, EMR documentation, and participation in admissions/transfers/discharges under RN supervision. Must obtain BLS within 45 days and maintain state nurse aide licensure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED/HSED required; Nurse Aide in good standing and BLS within 45 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, hygiene, feeding, mobility) and use of assistive devices.
• Record and report vital signs, intake/output, weight, and other patient data as requested.
• Document in EMR accurately and promptly.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, room setup and patient belongings management.
• Ensure patient call light is reachable and respond promptly to calls.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Maintain unit stock and cleanliness of nursing area; support patient safety and comfort.
