Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a CRU Nursing Assistant for the Nursing Float Pool at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. This full-time, 0.9 FTE night shift position supports RNs in direct patient care, including bathing, feeding, mobility, and monitoring patient data with EMR documentation.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, Nurse Aide in good standing, and BLS; hospital-based certifications may be required within 45 days.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED/HSED.
• Nurse Aide in good standing as per State Registry, BLS cert required within 45 days.
• Ability to perform basic nursing tasks and document care accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, mobility).
• Record vital signs, I&O, weights, and other data; document in EMR.
• Support admission/transfer/discharge activities and manage patient belongings.
• Respond to patient calls promptly and maintain infection prevention practices.
