Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a 0.6 FTE Nursing Assistant for night shifts in the Advocate Lutheran General Hospital Nursing Float Pool. The role is part-time (24 hours/week) with benefits eligibility and a $20.80–$31.20 hourly pay range.

Responsibilities include assisting RNs with bathing, feeding and mobility, recording vitals in the EMR, and supporting admissions, transfers and discharge processes under supervision. Certification in BLS is required within 45 days.

Qualifications

• Nurse Aide certification in good standing with the State Registry.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained within 45 days.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding and mobility.
• Record vitals and input data in the EMR accurately.
• Perform rounds and communicate observations to the RN promptly.
• Support admissions, transfers and discharge processes under RN supervision.
• Collect specimens and assist with nursing tasks and stock management.
