Job summary

Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL is seeking a Nursing Aide for the Nursing Float Pool. This part-time role covers two 12-hour night shifts per week from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Benefits eligible with 24 hours per week. Responsibilities include assisting RNs with patient care, documenting in EMR, performing rounds, and supporting admissions and discharge procedures under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED/HSED.
• Basic computer and EMR documentation ability.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Ability to set priorities and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility.
• Measure and document vital signs and inputs/outputs in EMR.
• Perform rounding and communicate patient observations to the RN.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge processes under supervision.
• Collect specimens and assist with routine point-of-care testing as directed.
• Restock and maintain nursing area and equipment; help with patient positioning.
