Job summary

Amwins is seeking a Cloud Engineer to manage day-to-day operations of virtualized servers and containerized workloads across AWS, Azure, and VMware. The role focuses on stability, performance, and security for hybrid cloud and on-premises systems.

Responsibilities include incident resolution, automation through scripting, and collaboration with infrastructure teams to improve reliability. Expect work hours aligned with EST night shift (11 PM–8 AM).

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating Microsoft Azure infrastructure including VMs, Storage, VNets, App Services, Key Vaults, Entra ID and Private Link.
• Strong AWS hands-on experience with EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront; scripting and container orchestration.
• Experience with DNS, DHCP at an expert level; Windows and Linux OS troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and monitor workloads across Azure, AWS, and VMware.
• Patch, configure, and lifecycle manage servers and cloud resources.
• Escalate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and drive closure.
