Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis - Respiratory seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for night shifts to support patient care through coaching physicians and nursing teams. This role performs direct patient care per physician orders and collaborates on therapy effectiveness.

Qualifications include graduation from a CoArc approved Respiratory Care program, an active RCP license, and NBRC RRT certification. ACLS preferred; ER staff may require PALS. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in respiratory care according to physician’s orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
