Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care at Saint Louis, MO. The role requires an RRT credential and valid licensure, with ACLS preferred.

Night shifts run 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with shift differential eligibility and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000. Responsibilities include consulting with physicians on therapy effectiveness and acting as a resource to physicians and nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Must hold current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• RRT credential NBRC required; PALS may be required for ER staff; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care according to physician orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
