Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory therapy on the night shift in Saint Louis, MO. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as a resource for the care team.

Requirements include graduation from a CoARC-approved program, current RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential; ACLS is preferred. Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is offered along with comprehensive benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• No work experience required.
• RRT credential awarded by NBRC; PALS may be required for ER staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult with physicians on the effectiveness of therapy.
• Serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
