Job summary

Mercy in Saint Louis, MO is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care across respiratory services, following physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and serve as an advanced resource for the care team.

This role requires graduation from a CoARC-approved program, current RCP license, NBRC RRT credential, and ACLS preferred. Mercy offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and night shifts with differential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC RRT credential.
• ACLS (preferred).
• PALS is required for ER staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult with physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff in respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.
