Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform direct patient care and consult on therapy effectiveness in a Saint Louis facility. You will act as a key resource for physicians and nursing staff and perform duties as assigned.

The role supports night shifts (7 pm–7:30 am) with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and a comprehensive benefits package. A compassionate, collaborative team environment awaits you at Mercy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license per state requirements.
• No prior experience required.
• RRT credential (NBRC) required; PALS may be needed for ER coworkers.
• ACLS preferred and beneficial for the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Consult physicians on therapy effectiveness and progress.
• Serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervision or protocol.
