CGS Nexus is seeking a Technical Support Representative for a night-shift, full-time temporary remote role. You will diagnose and repair POS hardware/software for retail locations, install new hardware, and perform board-level and remote troubleshooting.

Strong networking and organized, detail-oriented approach are essential. The position requires your own Windows device with dual monitors and a reliable wired internet connection, and pays $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support, repair, and assistance to retail locations regarding POS software and hardware issues.
• Repair and maintain equipment, including POS terminals, scanners/scales, printers, drawers, monitors, keyboards, and computers, along with their relevant software.
• Assist in the setup and installation of new hardware and POS-related software.
• Perform troubleshooting on core system remote devices.
• Engage in various computer-related break-fix repairs as needed.
• Proven experience and knowledge in replacing, configuring, and setting up new hardware and software.
• Proficient in electronic troubleshooting at the board level, with capabilities to repair terminals, computers, and peripherals at the component level.
• Proficient in networking.
