Job summary

Community Health Resources is seeking a part-time Recovery Support Specialist for the REST Center in Willimantic, CT. The role supports clients in identifying recovery goals, provides coaching, and conducts assessments within a 24/7 crisis-stabilization framework.

Requires CPSRP or similar certification and a valid driver’s license. The position offers a range of benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Lived experience recovering from mental health or substance use conditions.
• 2+ years working with identified populations; CPSRP preferred.
• Certification related to recovery support required or within 6 months of hire; driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in identifying and advocating recovery goals.
• Provide program model-based interventions and recovery coaching.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Carry out case management and connect clients to services and supports.
• Maintain documentation in line with agency standards.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings; participate in supervision.
