Job summary

Community Health Resources is seeking a Recovery Support Specialist for the REST Center in Willimantic, CT. This full-time night shift role supports clients with recovery planning, crisis intervention, and connection to community resources.

Responsibilities include assessments, individualized treatment planning, and case management in a trauma-informed, recovery-focused program that operates 24/7. Lived recovery experience is required, CPSRP certification preferred, and a valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Lived experience establishing and maintaining recovery from mental health or substance use condition(s) as required by position.
• 2+ years working with identified populations; CPSRP preferred; self-identifies in long-term recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in identifying and advocating their recovery goals.
• Conduct program-specific assessments and screens.
• Collaborate on individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention or de-escalation as needed.
• Provide case management and link clients to community resources.
